My name is Gabrielle. I like to call myself a photographer. I pretend I'm creative and artistic.
I'd like to use this blog to bring all of my imaginings to life, to fill my life with creativity, and to bring that to those around me.
I love words, I love how they are built & I love what they can build. Which leads to the namesake of my blog, Serendipity - I like the sound of the word, and I love the meaning ("a happy accident") because I am a firm believer of spontaneity and happiness. I love being outside & I love bare feet. I love the idea of running away without a plan & mindless wanderings. I love couches with cozy blankets. I love pretty words & lovely people. I love being loud & I love the sound of nothing. I love music & dance, and I love what they build together. I love nonsense. I love bright. I love happy.
This blog is to help me remember all of these things - my silly little passions - when I'm cranky or down. To keep me busy, to try anything and everything, to keep me going. All of my nearby and far off travels - all of this you can find here along with all of my own photography as I try to teach myself the works and build my career.
I'm not practiced in the ways of blogging, I'm still trying to make my way around. I ( as in my dear friend Joshua) am constantly changing the layout, working to make this wee blog cozy, & trying to find a schedule so that I can at least have weekly updates, cookies, crafts, or photos. And I do not pretend to have extraordinary writing skills.
